The 13th Annual Dan McCarthy Charity Golf Outing benefiting Tee It Up for the Troops will be held on June 15, 2024. This event will be held at the LYNX course in Otsego.
To date, this outing has raised $136,000.00, with .95 of every dollar going to help raise awareness for the need to assist our military men and women. 100% of all proceeds go to our partner Tee It Up for the Troops, Inc. a 501 C-3 Veteran’s non-profit organization, is one of the most awarded, and voted among the very top Veteran’s charities year after year in the United States by "“Great None Profits", "Charity Badge", and "GuideStar". Up to 50% of net proceeds comes back to support veteran service organizations right here in S.W. Michigan.
Over 48,000 of our veterans have been injured in recent military conflicts. In addition to physical wounds, it is estimated 400,000 service members live with invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Another 320,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment.
